GDPR and your data rights

If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or a jurisdiction with similar rules, you generally have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Right of access to your personal data.
• Right to rectification of inaccurate data.
• Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten") in certain cases.
• Right to restriction of processing.
• Right to data portability in a structured, commonly used format.
• Right to object to processing based on legitimate interests.
• Right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
• Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Signed-in users can download a machine-readable export of personal data from Profile > Privacy & data.

The export includes account and profile fields, saved addresses, document metadata, project and company memberships, attendance records, chat messages, and support requests linked to your account.

If you cannot sign in, contact us at hello@yourcompany.fi with proof of identity and we will respond within one month as required by GDPR.

You can update your name, phone, location, company details, and professions from your SiteTrack profile settings.

Your login email is fixed because it is used for OTP sign-in and project invites. To change it, contact hello@yourcompany.fi.

You may request erasure of your account from Profile > Privacy & data. SiteTrack removes or anonymizes personal identifiers such as your name, contact details, avatar, addresses, and uploaded profile documents.

Some project, task, or audit records may remain without personal identifiers where contractors must retain site history or where law requires retention.

Accounts that own a company or project may need ownership transferred before erasure. Super admin accounts must be handled by platform support.

Strictly necessary cookies run the service without separate consent. Optional cookies and browser storage for chat continuity are used only after you accept them in the cookie banner.

Signed-in users can reopen the cookie banner from Profile > Privacy & data. You may also clear cookies in your browser.

You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In Finland, contact the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman (Tietosuojavaltuutettu) at tietosuoja.fi.
