Translation settings

Configure DeepL so knowledge and chat can serve users in different languages.

DeepL API

Add your DeepL API key to enable machine translation for chat and published knowledge.

Stored encrypted in the database. Leave blank to keep the current key.
Defaults to the standard DeepL endpoint for the selected plan.
Optional DeepL glossary ID for construction terminology.

Translation behavior

Default publish target languages
When knowledge is published, machine translations are created for these languages.
2 languages selected
Retrieval fallback languages
Search tries these languages in order when the user language has few matches.
3 languages selected
Optional safety cap for translated characters per month.
